John Lennon,who was assassinated by a man,was born on 9 October 1980 and he was a vocalist in the the Beetles band.
Paul McCartney,who was born on 18 June 1942,was a vocalist and a guitarist in the Beetles band.
George Harrison,who was born on 25 February 1943 an died on 29 November 2001,was a vocalist and a guitarist.
Rings Starr,who was born 7 July 1940,was a drummer in the band.
Even though the Beetles did songs they also made 5 films. Some people thought that they changed the pop music because they were the only band who wrote their own music and songs. The band split up because Paul McCarteny said that he was going to leave the band so then they all left the band and the band was split up.

They were all from Liverpool-George Harrison and Paul McCartney took the same bus to school, and found out they had music and guitars in common.
In 1956, Paul introduced George to a band called the Quarrymen ,which John Lennon sang in. George was only 14 at the time and not old enough to join the group. But a few times he filled in for the regular guitarist and gradually became a member of the group!The Quarrymen became The Beatles, performing regularly at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, and within another four years the foursome became worldwide superstars.
